This week I’m sharing some of my favourite bridal accessories. Shoes, earrings, clutches... I love them all! As I was creating these vision boards I noticed myself gravitating towards metallics. Then I looked over pictures from my wedding day again and realized yup, that’s where it all started. Ah well, can't help what you love, right? If you can’t go all out on your own wedding day, then when can you? If you'd like to see where to purchase these items, click on the images above.
For my big day, I chose a simpler dress that fit me perfectly (the corset bodice certainly helped!) and added accessories to complete my look. I found this beautiful jewelled belt at Luxe Bridal then took it back to where I purchased my gown, this amazing boutique called Sweet Seraphine, and had their very talented seamstress sew the belt directly onto my dress. She then took the leftover materials and added jewelled detailing to the neckline of my dress. I skipped a necklace but decided to wear large chandelier earrings, a Swarovski crystal cuff, and a beautiful lace trimmed veil to finish off my look. Want to see how it all came together? :D (All photos below are copyright of DaveandCharlotte.com)

You look gorgeous! I wish I could wear my wedding dress everyday but I doubt it would fit me now seeing as I practically had to be sewn into it at the time and I've had a kid since then haha! x
ReplyDeleteThank you Ella!! I haven't tried mine on yet since our wedding 7 months ago but I'm tempted to all the time. Because mine's a corset backing I can't do it up by myself and I feel like an idiot asking my hubby to help lol.

haha I know what you mean! I didn't get into pinterest until I was well into planning because I knew once I started up I would be tempted to change all of our decor plans. As I see inspiration from others I wonder what I would change if I were to have a second wedding - anything except the guy though! :)
DeleteBeautiful bride! Nice dress Danielle. :-)
