Matthew (my husband) and I saw several exhibitions but our favourites were the the dinosaur and ocean life galleries. We also got to see a huge gold coin that weighed 100 kg (220 lbs) and was worth over $1M. Check out my instagram if you'd like to see that pic.
But really, let’s be honest, it doesn’t take too long for me to get bored at museums so after we had a lovely and cultural afternoon I went to go snap photos for my first outfit post. As you can see, we still have lots of snow so I chose black boots with a cozy scarf to stay practical but paired them with a lace tee and cobalt blue jeggings to keep the outfit interesting (I hate myself a little bit for using the word ‘jeggings’ in regular conversation now).
This bright blue scarf is one of my two favourites (my leopard print scarf is the other fave) and it’s sentimental because I bought it at this awesome international festival that I went to when I first moved to Korea. I love knowing that it was handmade and one-of-a-kind and every time I wear it I think about my year abroad. In fact, accessories like scarves and jewellery are my favourite souvenirs to pick up when I'm travelling. Travel has been on my mind a lot lately but I will be dedicating a whole post to that next week so for now let me leave you with my favourite shots of the museum. The castle-like building features a beautiful glass staircase with a ginormous whale hanging from the ceiling. Yes really.
PS: Only just realized that I am wearing the winterized version of this post!
Thanks for the comment :) I love your lace top and coat. I'm the exact same way, I always make sure to visit attractions when traveling, but I don't do it in my own town, now I think I will.

Thanks Donald! Isn't it weird how it's so easy to ignore the local attractions? Looking forward to when your shop launches its jewellery collection! Will you be shipping to Canada? ;)
